— FAQ · all the quiet questions

    Good questions, honest answers.

    01 / 03The basics

    Is SelfMind therapy?

No — it's a companion, not a clinician. It can support you between sessions, or when you're not sure you need one, but it doesn't diagnose or treat.

    Who built this?

A seven-person team, with a clinical council of nine therapists and researchers guiding the product.

    How much does it cost?

The core conversation and check-ins are free. A $9/mo Companion plan unlocks longer memory, all quizzes, and the full journal.

    02 / 03Privacy & safety

    Do you read my conversations?

No person at SelfMind can read your messages. They're end-to-end encrypted and we don't train models on them.

    What if I'm in crisis?

SelfMind always surfaces local crisis lines when it detects distress, and can connect you to a warm handoff with a real person in supported regions.

    Can I delete everything?

Yes — in one tap, anytime. We'll confirm, wait 24 hours in case you change your mind, then erase it completely.

    03 / 03The experience

    How long is a session?

Usually 3–7 minutes. You set the pace. SelfMind never pushes you to "finish."

    Does it remember me?

Yes — softly. It remembers how you like to be met, not every word you've said. You can edit or clear its memory anytime.

    Is there a mobile app?

Yes, for iOS and Android. A web version too, for late-night laptop thoughts.
