You must be at least 13 years of age to use SelfMind AI. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

SelfMind AI provides an AI-powered mental wellness companion application that offers:

• Personalized mental wellness support and self-care recommendations.
• Emotionally intelligent AI conversations (text and voice).
• Mood tracking, journaling support, and wellness routines.
• Memory-powered continuity across sessions.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at contact@selfmind.app if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to use SelfMind AI to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from our services without permission.
• Use the service for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
• Attempt to circumvent any safety or content filtering mechanisms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these restrictions, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

SelfMind AI is not a licensed medical or mental health provider. The content, conversations, and recommendations provided through SelfMind AI:

• Are for general informational and wellness support purposes only.
• Do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Should not be used as a substitute for professional mental health care.
• May not be appropriate for individuals experiencing severe mental health conditions.

All content, features, and functionality of SelfMind AI — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio clips, and software — are the property of SelfMind AI and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you create and share within SelfMind AI (e.g., journal entries, messages). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely for operating and improving the service. We do not claim ownership of your personal content.

Your use of SelfMind AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

SelfMind AI integrates with third-party services (e.g., Supabase, Meta platforms, AI providers). Your use of those integrations may be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or practices of third-party services.

SelfMind AI offers both free and paid features. Paid subscriptions and one-time voice add-on packs are billed in Indian Rupees (INR) through our payment processor, Razorpay. Pricing, billing terms, refunds, and cancellation are described on our Pricing page and our Cancellation & Refund Policy, and are shown to you before any purchase is completed. A core experience, including crisis support, remains available free of charge.

SelfMind AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SelfMind AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the service.
• Any reliance on information provided through the service.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
• Any decisions made based on the AI companion's responses.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of SelfMind AI shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or INR 500, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SelfMind AI, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of SelfMind AI, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to SelfMind AI at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SelfMind AI shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right to seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of SelfMind AI after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
